FAQ’s

What would you recommend for getting started?

Keep it simple. My first camera was a Canon Rebel T5i. For lenses, I had the 50mm f/1.4 and 85mm f/1.8. Honestly, you could go with less. For everything I didn’t have, I found a hack. A few of my portfolio images were shot on the Rebel!

I love your logo! Where did you get it designed?

Thank you. My logo is actually my handwriting :p I used an art pen, wrote my name on a white sheet of paper (added the heart to make it more artistic) and then scanned it. I didn’t know how to use Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop at the time so I hired a graphic designer to vectorize it and that was it!

Do you offer mentoring?

Yes, I do! Currently, I do in-person mentoring in Boulder. We can talk about anything you’d like: lighting, posing, photographic style, branding - you name it!

Who/What are your biggest influences?

So many! Photographers I admire: Eve Arnold, Peter Lindbergh, Christian Coigny, Gerhard Richter and Xenie Zasetskaya. In art, I love Leonardo DaVinci, French Rococo and Impressionism. In fashion, I like the styles of Christian Dior and Audrey Hepburn.
